Inspiration
From the color scheme of the fresco
The three colors of red, green and white are extracted from the murals of Mogao Grottoes, and the glaze green, pomegranate red and reed bud white are deduced under the harmony of modern aesthetics. Rich and gorgeous color matching infuses the space with a sense of fashion.
Clever symmetry
[DUNHUANG] Series follow the principle of symmetry in details, and cleverly use open cabinets and glass doors to break complete symmetry in layout. While retaining the balance beauty of symmetry, weakening the sense of regularity and constraint brought by large area symmetry.
Original handle design
Inspired by the flowing drapery on the flying clothes in the Mogao Grottoes fresco, the embedded handle is covered with delicate lychee leather and symmetrically embedded on the door panel, bringing a sense of flexibility and ritual to the space.
Recreate the vastness of the desert
The color of the curtain grey is inspired by the desert under night.
The linear texture dynamically transforms the quicksand into eternity,
and the vastness and peace in the desert are introduced into the space.
