Mid-High-end Product Series (Neo Chinese Style)
The design style mimics the vastness of the desert and the elegance and gorgeous colours of the murals. Extracted from the essence of DUNHUANG’s nature and culture with modern design techniques. The design creates an atmosphere of simple, elegant and fashionable space.
Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the murals of the Mogao Grottoes, the refined palette of red, green, and white is reimagined through the lens of modern aesthetics. The glazed green, pomegranate red, and reed bud white harmoniously blend tradition with contemporary sophistication. This vibrant colour scheme transforms spaces, infusing them with a sense of fashion and cultural depth. The result is an environment that exudes elegance, honouring heritage while embracing the dynamism of modern design.
Clever symmetry
This series embraces the principle of symmetry, ensuring a balanced and cohesive aesthetic while skillfully incorporating open cabinets and glass doors to disrupt complete uniformity. By introducing these thoughtful elements, the design retains the elegance of symmetry but mitigates the rigidity and monotony of large, symmetrical expanses. The result is a refined interplay between order and spontaneity, creating a visually dynamic layout that feels structured and inviting, exuding sophistication in every detail.
Original handle design
Inspired by the flowing drapery on the flying clothes in the Mogao Grottoes fresco, the embedded handle is covered with delicate lychee leather and symmetrically embedded on the door panel, bringing a sense of flexibility and ritual to the space.
The colour of the curtain is kept grey, drawing inspiration from the desert at night. The linear texture dynamically transforms the quicksand into eternity, mimicking the idea of desert vastness and peace in space.
